Probably one of the hardest torrents/files to track!! was the Simulation disc. i gave up and uploaded my own copy!! .BIN format (I see someone is already seeding a arcade version too!) this works 100% in ePSXe, (i provide ePSXe in my uploads, working with BIOS+plugins) some info about the awesome game sony ever created! INFO: Platform: PlayStation Release Date: December 17, 1999 Similar Games: Gran Turismo (PlayStation), Need for Speed: High Stakes (PlayStation), R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 (PlayStation), Sports Car GT (PlayStation), Need for Speed: High Stakes (IBM PC Compatible), Gran Turismo 3 A-spec (PlayStation 2) GENERAL INFO: Gran Turismo took the PlayStation to new graphical standards. It also advanced the racing genre with its inclusion of full Arcade and Simulation modes. Along with the two modes of play, players also found themselves with a plethora of cars (new and used), tracks and car settings. Gran Turismo 2 takes everything in the original and adds to it with more cars, more tracks, more car manufacturers and even rally racing. Replays can be saved to a memory card and unlike the original, viewed from camera angles selected by the user. Arcade mode has players racing each track on a variety of difficulty settings. Winning on each setting will release new cars and tracks. Every car featured in the complete game will not be found in this mode, but instead only a select group. However, this time around players are now allowed to use the cars that have been purchased and modified in Simulation mode. This mode has another connection to Arcade mode as well: obtaining licenses will unlock tracks in Arcade mode. Time Trial, Ghost Car, Replay Theater and Rally modes are also included in Arcade mode, however rally mode exists only as a time trial here. In order to race against opponents on rally tracks, players will have to purchase a rally car in Simulation mode.

Not sure, you'll have to find a good converter or mount the Image with Daemon tools.
Then with a PS1>PSP converter convert as if the ISO is of a normal CD,

Wikipedia shows a big list of music in this gam. However, I can not listen them. Can you listen music in the game?I mean, while you are playing it on a course is there music playing?

I would have to say that GT2 is far and away much better than GT3 and maybe even better than GT4. They screwed with the handling too much in the transition to PS2, and I really think GT2 was the pinnacle. Plus, GT2 has tons of cool cars in it... :)
This is a good torrent but i am having a problem in the game, it works fine and then i'm trying to get the IB license and all the graphics go to shis when i load a certain test 5 so, hopefully its something wrong with my setup, any help would be sweet

Rarson, I have to agree. GT2 feels quite good, and dare I say it, it even feels like a primitive version of the GTR series for PC. It's DAMN good for the year it was developed. The transition to PS2 ruined the series. The handling became almost... too floaty?
It's hard to explain, but GT2 gives you the feeling that the tires are having normal grip issues, it handes and "feels" gritty, like how it should feel when a 1.5ton car is scraping tires across pavement. When the car goes over bumps around corners, the tire hop is realistic as well.
I played this for the first time about 8 months ago on the PC (emulator), and I have to say I was damn impressed. So I tried out GT3 and 4 on a friends PS2 and I was just like "???". It just isn't the same. GT2 just feels more hardcore, it feels better. Graphics or not, the game is rockin' socks 11 years after it was developed just like Grand Prix Legends.
Now if only it was possible to stuff in a high resolution texture pack... THAT would be something to see..

COD333 is lying. The game does crash if you purchase a Dodge car (only tried with Neon r/t) and if you go to tune and then turbo ePSXe will give this error: Opcode 1e UNK (PC 001c7b3c) (7716,4)

my GT2 crashes on ib-5 license test! :S. how i can fix it?
you can fix the crash on IB-5 using something else plugin.
Just get a savegame where you have like 16 million dollars and all liscences. That's what I did. Or you can use the cheat plugin for epsxe to get everything as well.

I have 5 copies of this game and NONE of them are in good shape anymore. I have been trying to make a copy of my own and I am stuck at music.dat I am about to give up. But thank you for this. I really wanted to play this today on my xbox and try out the new version of the PCX EMU. Can't wait to see just how good the Graphics are on this.

45 MIN TO COMPLETION! YES! Game plays on both the new epsx emu and 1.5 version of the xbox version as long as you don't change any of the settings. WOW looks great on the PC! Plays without a hitch, just need a WAY fast computer single core 2.1 ghz Celeron laptops DO NOT APPLY. Plays but is choppy at times. This Download is PERFECT! (as far as I can tell)
